As the daughter of an interior designer, Carrie Binney was exposed to a very creative world at a young age. Carrie attended Art Center College of Design and earned a degree in Communication Design. While studying at Art Center, Carrie enrolled in a letterpress class and a new passion was born. Upon graduating she worked as a graphic designer in Los Angeles for several years and then returned to her roots in Northern California where she continued designing food and beverage packaging. She has worked at several top tier branding firms as a Design Director and has been instrumental in the branding of many food and beverage products. As time permitted through the years, she nurtured her passion for letterpress until she finally decided to start Carrie B. Design and Letterpress in 2005. She is known for her attention to detail and elegant design aesthetic. Carrie brings fresh ideas to the table that have a timeless quality and incorporate unique materials.
